cTrader Risk Manager

Trading with the correct risk amount is essential if you want to succeed as a trader. This is a cTrader cBot that can automatically calculate the lot size of any pending orders or market orders based on the risk amount you choose (money or balance percentage). You can edit the pending orders on the chart, and the cBot will automatically update the lot size for you. You can edit the market orders on the Risk Manager Panel and see the preview of them on the chart before you click on the Buy/Sell Market buttons. This cBot was created to be intuitive and easy to use; you won't need a course to learn how to use this.

Here is how to use it:

1. Run the cBot.
2. Choose the risk type by clicking on the Risk Type button.
3. Write the risk amount and click on the Set Risk button.
4. Now you can place pending orders on the chart or use the Buy/Sell Market buttons.

• Every time you change the stop-loss position of a pending order, the cBot will readjust the lot size for you.
• You can place market orders in pips or price; just click on the "= Pips" button in front of the take profit to change it to "= Price".
• The Preview Buy/Sell checkbox at the bottom of the panel does exactly that. It will show where the Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Entry price of the market orders will be on the chart.
• There is also the option to disable the risk manager for the pending orders; this way only the market orders created by the panel will have the auto lot size calculation.
• At the top right corner of the panel, there is a small button where you can change the position of the panel on the chart.

Before you run the cBot, there are a few parameters you can customize:

• The starting risk type.
• The rounding mode of the risk calculation. It is not possible to have an exact risk amount all the time; this will round the risk based on your preference (To Nearest, Down, or Up).
• The default risk amount for money.
• The default risk amount for account balance.
• Default stop loss and take profit in pips.
• If you want the panel on the chart or not (If you disable the panel here, only the pending orders will have the risk calculation, and it will be the default risk you choose in the parameters above).
• The last parameters will set the starting position for the risk manager panel.
